The 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India at Ashram Yogasana is an extensive advanced level yoga course that builds up your practice and teaching. The curriculum is a blend of both traditional yogic knowledge and modernised anatomy, in-depth asana practice, pranayama, meditation and yoga philosophy, that provides you with a life-altering experience.
In the 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training, students move beyond foundational postures into deeper and more advanced Hatha Yoga asanas. The practice refines alignment, strength, stamina, and awareness, preparing practitioners for higher yogic experiences.
In this module, students move beyond the Primary Series and begin to explore Intermediate (Nadi Shodhana) and parts of Advanced A & B Series, designed to purify the nervous system, build strength, and deepen concentration. The practice refines vinyasa (breath-synchronized movement), bandhas (energy locks), and drishti (gaze points).
Daily Schedule
The daily routine of a 300 Hour Yoga Teacher has been made in such a way that there is an inclusion of physical practice, theory, and self-observation. There is a practice of silence meditation along with pranayama which is later followed by energizing asana practice to get the body up and about. Theory classes about the philosophy of yoga, ways of teaching, anatomy of yoga, and others will take place and practical lessons of helping into asana dissection and reconstruction will extend throughout the day. One more yoga with the aim of relaxation, a talk and meditation will be included in the evenings with an aim of facilitating community and development. The educational process seems to be quite rigid and would, however, allow free expression on any particular aspect that would trigger active engagement with effective assimilation and growth of the students.

Daily life at the ashram is conducted in traditional and yogic way so that day is started with morning meditation, pranayama and asana practice in terms of experienced teachers. The classes are done in a structured manner and give students the opportunity to learn at their pace and however they feel comfortable, whilst challenging them to develop in ways that help them physically, mentally and spiritually. The silent environment, the mellifluous noise of the river and the unadulterated Himalayan air all lend some inherent support to inner calmness and clarity.
In addition to classes, the students are involved in ashram living where they are sharing meals, chanting mantra, and experiencing the bliss of community. The sattvic vegetarian food is freshly cooked with love, therefore nourishing the body, as well as being aligned with the yogic ideals of purity and balance. Days are typically and evenings often concluded with meditation, satsang, or time alone to reflect, allowing students time to commune deeply with themselves. At Ashram Yogasana, we offer a peaceful convenient atmosphere to help your advanced yoga practice. Our ashram provides hygienic and comfortable rooms with an option of either staying individually or in a shared room, all with attached bathrooms, hot water and Wi -Fi connection. The ashram is nestled amongst the serene energy of the Himalayas, which make it the most conducive environment to learn to meditate and practice. Everyday, healthy sattvic vegetarian meals are provided three times a day for the nourishment of the body and mind. Spacious yoga rooms, a meditation room, library and access to nature walks will complement the experience and enable your living conditions during training to be holistic and supportive.
